STIPED is an EU project to develop a new treatment option for children and adolescents affected by Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The new treatment strategy is based on innovative, effective and safe brain stimulation methods using non-invasive transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS). STIPED introduces a novel concept of mental health disorders therapy based on individualization of treatment, the use of a home-based treatment device, and a telemental health service.
