STIPED Data Safety and Monitoring Board

The Data Safety and Monitoring Board (DSMB) is an independent board whose role is to monitor patients’ safety during study conduct as well as the data quality and the study progress. The DSMB serves as advisory body for the sponsor regarding continuation, modification or termination of the study. The DSMB consists of three external and independent members.
