STIPED non invasive brain stimulation

Evangelisches Klinikum Bethel (EvKB), Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychotherapy,Bielefeld

In our Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychotherapy of the Evangelical Hospital Bethel (EvKB) we treat children and adolescent from Bielefeld suffering from psychological problems. In our outpatient clinic, day unit, and inpatient clinic we are offering several treatment options as well as diagnostics and counselling.

Furthermore, we investigate possible reasons for mental disorders in children and adolescents as well as  various associated difficulties, e.g. at school or at home, in order to get a better understanding and to help those affected. For example, in our project STIPED we examine whether a weak electric current is suitable for children and adolescents suffering from attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) or autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
